Wonga Pigeon Gallery

Leusarcia melanoleuca
A family of these popular birds are permanent residents of Wombolly.  The Wonga is a timid bird who quickly struts behind a rock or tree when approached or disturbed as though to say, "I bet you can't see me."   From the front, their distinctive markings  are waist coat-like, with rows of underside spots making them very pretty birds.
