This very large and powerful parasidic bird is an occassioal visitor to Wombolly.  It's quite unique raucous squawking call can be heard echoing through the tree-tops.  A young bird has been seen in the trees making a big din, while a poor Currawong flies back and forth with food to satisfy the Cuckoo's voracious appetite.  Click on images to enlarge.
