Azure Kingfisher Gallery

Ceyx azureus
This beautiful little kingfisher is occasionally seen swooping along the river, often stopping on a low overhanging branch to gaze intently into the water looking for food.  If successful in its search, it will dive and come up with a morsel wriggling in its long glistening black beak.  Click on images to enlarge.
