Crested Shrike-tit Gallery

Falcunculus frontatus
These pretty birds are usually heard before they are noticed.  They move quietly though the eucalypts, their strong beaks cracking and tearing loose barks as they search for worms and bugs.  Great acrobats!  Click on images to enlarge.
